Ep 2. (Apollo) Sun God

In Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? season 2 episode 2, titled "Apollo, the Sun God," the focus shifts from the protagonist Bell Cranel to Hestia, his goddess, and her ongoing rivalry with Apollo's familia. The episode opens with Apollo, a new god in town, sending a message to all of the other gods and goddesses in Orario: he intends to win the favor of Bell's ally, Syr Flover, for himself.

Hestia becomes immediately suspicious of Apollo's intentions, given that he has a reputation for stealing other gods' followers and adding them to his own familia. She decides to investigate the threat herself, prompting an argument with Bell about whether or not she should be putting herself in danger.

Meanwhile, Apollo puts his plan into action by showering Syr with gifts and attention, causing her to waver in her allegiances. While she is not officially a member of Hestia's familia, she has become a close friend and ally of Bell's, making her a valuable target for Apollo's manipulations.

As Hestia investigates Apollo's past, she discovers that he has a long history of stealing followers and bending others to his will. She becomes convinced that he is a threat to the entire community of gods and goddesses in Orario, and that something needs to be done to stop him.

In an effort to protect Syr and prevent Apollo from gaining any more power, Hestia challenges him to a wager: whoever wins in a game of skill and strategy will earn Syr's loyalty. Apollo agrees, confident in his abilities, and the two sides prepare for a heated competition.

As the game unfolds, it becomes clear that Hestia's suspicions about Apollo were well-founded. He employs a number of underhanded tactics and tricks to try to win the game, suggesting that he is not above cheating to get what he wants.

Despite this, Hestia and her team ultimately emerge victorious, earning Syr's allegiance and thwarting Apollo's plans. However, as the episode comes to a close, it is clear that Apollo is not done with his scheming just yet, and that Hestia and her allies will need to be on guard against his next move.
