Hoto Kokoa is a high school girl who moves to a new town and decides to start working at a nearby café called Rabbit House. She becomes friends with the café's staff, including the owner's granddaughter, Chino, and her classmates, Rize and Chiya. In episode 10 of season 1, the gang decides to have a sleepover at Rabbit House. The girls set up blankets and pillows in the café, and spend the night telling ghost stories, playing games, and eating snacks. Kokoa is especially excited because it's her first sleepover with her new friends. As the night wears on, the girls get sleepier and sleepier, but they're having too much fun to go to bed. However, when Chino goes to make hot chocolate, she realizes that she's run out of milk. Rize suggests that they go on a midnight milk run to a nearby convenience store. The group is hesitant at first, but they eventually agree to go. They walk through the dark streets, trying to find the store, but they get lost. After wandering for a while, they stumble upon a mysterious old house. They're scared at first, but they're also curious, so they decide to explore. However, they soon realize that they're not alone in the house. The girls get separated, and each one has her own spooky encounter.
