Ep 6. A Story About Telling a Story

Chino, Cocoa, and Rize are walking home from school one day when they come across a shop that sells storytelling picture books. Chino and Rize are immediately drawn to one particular book with a picture of a mysterious girl on the cover.

Cocoa, wanting to impress her friends, decides to buy the book and read it to them that night. However, she quickly discovers that the book is not as easy to read as she thought. The words on the pages seem to be an unrecognizable language, and the pictures inside are bizarre and surreal.

As Cocoa struggles to make sense of the book, Chino and Rize slowly become engrossed in the story. The girl on the cover comes to life and begins to lead them on a fantastical journey through strange and mystical lands.

As the night wears on and the story unfolds, Cocoa starts to feel left out. She can't understand the pictures or the words, and she feels like she's missing out on something wonderful. Just as she's about to give up, she suddenly has an idea.

She goes into the kitchen and begins to make hot cocoa for her friends. As she stirs the cocoa and watches the steam rise from the cup, she realizes that the book is just like a cup of hot cocoa - it's meant to be enjoyed slowly and savored. She brings the cocoa back to her friends and settles in to listen to the rest of the story.

The story winds its way through a series of strange and otherworldly landscapes, punctuated by moments of humor and heartache. As the three friends listen, they begin to see each other in a new light. Chino reveals a hidden talent for drawing, Rize confesses a love for sweet desserts, and Cocoa realizes just how much she cares for her friends.

As the story draws to a close, the girl on the cover fades away back into the pages of the book. Chino, Rize, and Cocoa are left sitting in the warm glow of the room, feeling closer to each other than ever before.

The episode ends with a shot of the three friends heading off into the night, wrapped in their own thoughts and feelings. As they walk, they pass a cafe with a warm and inviting glow. They look at each other and nod, knowing without speaking that they're all thinking the same thing - let's go get some hot cocoa.
