In the second episode of season three of It's Me or the Dog, titled "The Castle Goes to the Dogs," celebrity dog trainer Victoria Stilwell faces a particularly challenging case.

The episode opens with Victoria arriving at a grand castle in England, where she is greeted by the owners of the property, a married couple named Martin and Sam. Martin and Sam own three large dogs, a Great Dane named Rudi, a Newfoundland named Rufus, and a Saint Bernard named Ralph. While the dogs are all well-behaved individually, they become out of control when they are together.

Martin and Sam are passionate about their dogs and treat them like family members, but their devotion to their pets has created a number of problems. The dogs have destroyed parts of the castle's interior and exterior, including door frames, carpets, and a garden fountain. They have also created a number of dangers around the property, such as digging holes in the lawn and jumping up on guests.

Victoria is initially stunned by the level of destruction that the dogs have caused and notes that Martin and Sam are in desperate need of help. She begins by observing the dogs' behavior and quickly identifies a number of issues. The dogs are not sufficiently trained, and they are not receiving enough exercise or mental stimulation. This lack of structure and stimulation is causing them to become bored and anxious, which then leads to their destructive behavior.

Over the course of the episode, Victoria works closely with Martin and Sam to teach them how to properly train and manage their dogs. She introduces them to new training techniques, such as positive reinforcement and clicker training, and helps them to develop a more structured routine for their pets. She also takes the dogs on walks and engages them in more interactive playtime activities.

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that these techniques are having a positive effect on the dogs. They slowly become more obedient and responsive, and they seem to be enjoying themselves more as well. Martin and Sam are thrilled with the changes they are seeing in their dogs and are grateful for Victoria's guidance.

However, there are still some challenges to overcome. One of the dogs, Rudi, has a particularly intense pack mentality and struggles to behave appropriately around the other two dogs. Victoria works with Martin and Sam to develop a plan to address this issue, which involves giving Rudi more individual attention and ensuring that he is properly exercised and stimulated on his own.

At the end of the episode, Martin and Sam are in a much better position to manage their dogs and their home. They have learned valuable lessons about the importance of structure, exercise, and training, and they have developed a stronger bond with their pets as a result. The dogs are calmer, happier, and better-behaved, and the castle is no longer at risk of being destroyed.
