Ep 24. Adventures in Iceland

In this episode of Journey with Dylan Dreyer Season 2, Dylan takes viewers on a thrilling adventure to Iceland. Known for its stunning landscapes and unique culture, Iceland offers endless opportunities for exploration.

Dylan starts her journey in the capital city of Reykjavik, where she visits some of the city's most famous sights, including the Hallgrimskirkja church and the Harpa Concert Hall. She also experiences Icelandic cuisine by trying the local dish of fermented shark.

Next, Dylan travels to the south coast of Iceland to explore its beautiful beaches, glaciers, and waterfalls. She visits the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which allows visitors to walk behind the cascading water for a unique perspective. Dylan also takes a hike on a nearby glacier and marvels at the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Dylan then heads to the famous black sand beach of Vik, where she takes a boat tour to see the incredible rock formations and puffin colonies in the nearby cliffs. She even gets the chance to spot some whales swimming in the ocean.

The adventure continues as Dylan goes on a guided horseback ride through the Icelandic countryside. The Icelandic horse is a unique breed that has been isolated on the island for over a thousand years, and Dylan learns about their special qualities and how to ride them.

Dylan's trip to Iceland wouldn't be complete without a visit to the country's famous hot springs and geysers. She visits the iconic Geysir, which shoots water and steam 60 meters into the air every few minutes, and relaxes in the nearby hot springs.

Finally, Dylan travels to the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon to see the beautiful icebergs and explore the nearby Diamond Beach. Here, icebergs wash up on the black sand beach and glitter like diamonds in the sunlight.
