Ep 49. Jumong 49

Jumong is an epic historical drama based on the life of Jumong Taewang, the founder of the kingdom of Goguryeo in ancient Korea. In season 1 episode 49, tensions between Jumong (played by Song Il-gook) and his stepbrother Daeso (played by Kim Seung-soo) reach a boiling point as they prepare for battle.

Daeso, who has long harbored jealousy and resentment towards Jumong, has allied himself with the Han forces in order to attack Jumong and take control of Goguryeo. Meanwhile, Jumong is struggling to maintain his own alliances and keep his people united in the face of this threat.
