The Justice League is back in action, and in season 3 episode 2, they are faced with a new challenge. The episode, entitled "For the Man Who Has Everything," begins with the League celebrating Superman's birthday. However, their celebration is interrupted when a mysterious alien plant takes hold of Superman and puts him in a dreamlike state. While Superman is trapped in his own mind, the rest of the League must work to free him before it's too late.

As the League tries to figure out what's happening to Superman, they are confronted by the plant's creator, a powerful being known as Mongul. Mongul reveals that the plant is called the Black Mercy, and it feeds off of the person it has captured by giving them their deepest desires. In Superman's case, he is living in a dream world where Krypton never exploded, and his family and friends are still alive. However, the dream is taking a toll on his physical body, and he must be freed before it drains him completely.

The League splits up to take on Mongul and his minions while Batman, the only member who is familiar with the Black Mercy, sets out on a mission to free Superman. Along the way, Batman is confronted by visions of his own desires, which serve as a distraction from his task at hand. He must overcome these distractions if he has any hope of saving his friend.

Meanwhile, other members of the League face their own challenges as they battle against Mongul and his army. Wonder Woman must take on Mongul himself in a brutal and deadly fight, while Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Hawkgirl work together to take down the plant's defenses. These battles are intense and action-packed, with each member of the League using their unique abilities to contribute to the fight.

As the League gets closer to freeing Superman, they are dealt a major setback when they discover that Mongul has a secret weapon – a massive psychic projection that is capable of destroying entire planets. The League must come together and use all of their skills and powers to stop Mongul and save Superman before it's too late.

The episode culminates in an epic confrontation between the League and Mongul, with Superman's fate hanging in the balance. The fight is intense and dramatic, with each member of the League putting everything they have into the battle. In the end, it is a combination of Batman's cunning and Superman's own strength and determination that lead to the defeat of Mongul and the freeing of Superman from the Black Mercy's grip.

Overall, "For the Man Who Has Everything" is an exciting and emotionally-charged episode of Justice League that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats from beginning to end. With intense action, complex characters, and a compelling story, this episode is a must-watch for fans of the series.
