Malibu Country Season 1 Episode 7 Merry Malibu Christmas

Reba (played by Reba McEntire) is determined to start a new holiday tradition for her family in the seventh episode of the first season of Malibu Country, entitled Merry Malibu Christmas. She decides to throw a big Christmas party, despite Kim's (played by Sara Rue) insistence that they never do anything to celebrate the holiday. Reba is determined to make this the best Christmas ever for her children Cash (played by Justin Prentice) and June (played by Juliette Angelo).

However, planning the perfect party proves to be more difficult than Reba initially anticipated. When her first attempt at creating a festive atmosphere by putting up Christmas lights fails due to a lack of power, Reba starts to spiral. Kim suggests that they try doing something different for the holiday, the way they used to celebrate when they were growing up. But Reba is adamant about sticking to her plan for a big, modern Malibu Christmas.

Meanwhile, Reba's ex-husband and Cash and June's father, Bobby (played by Jeffrey Nordling), shows up unexpectedly with a "gift from the past" that throws everyone off their game. Reba must navigate the awkward encounter with her ex while still trying to pull off the perfect party.

As the day of the party approaches, tensions rise and it seems like Reba's vision for the perfect Christmas may not come to fruition. But with a little help from her family and friends, Reba is able to salvage the festivities and make some great memories in the process.
