Ep 8. The Love Boat

The Love Boat is the 8th episode of season 1 of Manzo'd With Children. In this episode, we get to see more of the Manzo family as they go on a family vacation on a cruise ship. The Manzo family has planned a trip on the Norwegian Breakaway. Chris and Albie are excited to go on the ship, but Albie is especially excited about the sunbathing opportunities. Jacqueline is excited to go on the cruise too, but she wants to stay close to her boys. Caroline, on the other hand, is not so excited about the trip, but she reluctantly agrees to go along with it.

On the first day of the cruise, the Manzo family heads to their cabin to unpack. However, they quickly realize that they are running out of space as their luggage seems to be overflowing. Chris, Albie, and Caroline immediately start complaining and Jacqueline has to come to the rescue to get everyone's belongings organized.

After settling in, the Manzos head to one of the main dining rooms for their first meal on the ship. However, they quickly realize that finding a table for six is harder than they thought it would be. After finishing their meal, they decide to take a tour of the ship, but they quickly get lost. Chris and Albie decide that they need to take matters into their own hands and navigate the ship themselves.

The next day, the Manzos head to the pool deck to enjoy the sun and the pool. Caroline decides to read her book and relax while the boys play some pool games. However, Caroline quickly becomes annoyed when Chris and Albie start horseplaying and splashing each other in the pool. She reminds them that they are not the only ones on the ship and that they need to be respectful of others.

Later that night, the family gets dressed up for the captain's dinner. However, they quickly realize that they have nothing to wear. Jacqueline comes to the rescue, lending her sons some of her clothes. Caroline is not happy about this, but she decides to just go with it.

The family heads to the dining room, where they are seated with another family. They quickly realize that the other family is a bit peculiar and they struggle to make conversation. Meanwhile, Chris and Albie start to realize that they have to start thinking about their future and what they want to do with their lives. They begin to have a serious conversation about their careers and what they want to accomplish.

On the last day of the cruise, the family heads to the pool one last time to soak up some sun. Caroline finally lets loose and joins her sons in the pool for a game of volley ball. The family also participates in some of the ship's activities, like trivia and a game show.

Overall, The Love Boat is an entertaining episode of Manzo'd With Children that shows the hilarious and relatable struggles of a family vacation. It also touches on the serious topic of career paths and what it means to grow up.
