She then invites the Heroine to stay as a guest while they continue their negotiations.

Later that night, the Heroine talks to the Demon Lord about her decision to abdicate. She tells her that she thinks it's a brave thing to do. The Demon Lord is surprised but pleased to hear this. She thanks the Heroine for her kind words and admits that she was worried about what the humans would think.

The episode ends with the Heroine returning to the human territories with a new understanding of the demons. She realizes that they are not monsters but people, just like the humans. And she wonders, if they can learn to see each other as human, then maybe there can be true peace between them.
