The Korean television show Medical Brothers is tells the story of two brothers working in a hospital. Their mysterious past and truth eventually becomes revealed. The two brothers, Soo-Hyung and Joon-Gi, have very unique views and personalities. Joon-Gi is dedicated to healing and is a hard worker known as a kind and quiet person. Soo-Hyung, is the total opposite and is self-centered and egotistical. His professional success fuels his big ego. Soo-Hyung is doesn't treat women right and is known as a ladies man. In the beginning of the series, getting to know the brothers is a huge part of the story line. In the case of Soo-Hyung, his rough and hard personality is revealed. He is known for the hit or miss relationship with fellow co-worker and doctor Cha Min-Joo. Min-Joo cares whole heartedly for Soo-Hyung, but Soo-Hyung mistreats her. She decides to give up on Soo-Hyung, which does not seem to cause any harm. Joon-Gi quickly climbs the ranks as a doctor. His father, the hospital director, has Joon-Gi lined up as his successor and is slowly piecing the puzzle together to make Joon-Gi's successor status a reality.
