In MEKAKUCITY ACTORS season 1 episode 11, titled "Moon-Viewing Recital," the members of the Mekakushi Dan are hosting a moon-viewing party, where they plan to share their own unique talents with each other. While some members are excited to perform, others are feeling anxious and unsure about what to do.

Kido is the first to perform, impressing everyone with her ability to carve intricate patterns into a pumpkin with just a knife. Seto follows with a magic show, but is disappointed when he accidentally reveals his tricks to everyone. Momo then takes the stage, singing a traditional Japanese folk song, which causes Hibiya to think back to his memories of her.

As the night goes on, the group begins to partake in various activities, such as playing games and telling ghost stories. However, the peaceful night takes a turn when they notice strange occurrences happening around them. Shadows start to move on their own and objects begin to levitate. The group quickly realizes that they are being haunted by a vengeful spirit.

The Mekakushi Dan tries to figure out a way to banish the ghost, as it becomes increasingly violent. Hibiya suggests using an old Japanese ritual involving a mirror, but it requires that someone sacrifice themselves to the spirit. The group initially refuses to let anyone make such a sacrifice, but Hibiya insists that he will do it himself.

Just as Hibiya is about to perform the ritual, the ghost's true identity is revealed – it is none other than Konoha, who had accidentally summoned the ghost of his dead mother with his powers. The group manages to calm Konoha down and convince him to release his mother's spirit. In a heartbreaking moment, Konoha bids farewell to his mother and thanks the Mekakushi Dan for their help.

The episode ends with the group enjoying the remaining time of their moon-viewing party, as Hibiya reflects on the night's events. He expresses gratitude for the newfound understanding and trust among the group, while also acknowledging the pain that still lingers within them all.

"Moon-Viewing Recital" is a pivotal episode in MEKAKUCITY ACTORS, as it delves deeper into the emotional struggles of its characters while also featuring supernatural elements and traditional Japanese culture. It showcases the strength and unity of the Mekakushi Dan, as they band together to protect one of their own.
