As they continue to explore the mansion, they encounter other members of the Mekakushi Dan, including the aforementioned Ene. Ene seems to have a mischievous streak and enjoys teasing Haruka. However, her antics are interrupted when they are attacked by a group of mysterious figures known as the "Sightings."

The Sightings seem to be the source of the Heat Haze, and they attack the group with powerful weapons and abilities. Kido and the others fight back with their own unique powers, but they are clearly outmatched. Haruka is forced to confront his own fears and doubts, and he soon discovers that he has the power to summon a mysterious creature called a "Konoha."

With the help of his new friends and the power of the Konoha, Haruka is able to defeat the Sightings and put an end to the Heat Haze. However, the experience leaves him questioning what is real and what is not, and he is left with a newfound respect for the members of the Mekakushi Dan.
