Ep 15. House of God

In "Melrose Place" season 1 episode 15, titled "House of God," the residents of the eponymous apartment complex find themselves struggling with their personal demons. Michael Mancini (Thomas Calabro), the unfaithful husband and resident physician, grapples with the consequences of his infidelity, while his wife Jane (Josie Bissett) attempts to move on from their troubled marriage. Meanwhile, aspiring actress Sandy (Amy Locane) faces a stark realization about the futility of her dreams, and her roommate Rhonda (Vanessa A. Williams) tries to help her pick up the pieces.

The central storyline of the episode revolves around the opening of a new hospital, which bears the ominous name "House of God." Michael is overjoyed to learn that he has been offered a job there, but quickly discovers that the hospital is plagued by bureaucratic red tape and dangerous levels of stress. Elsewhere in Melrose Place, the other tenants are dealing with their own dramas. Sandy meets with a casting director who gives her a harsh reality check about the slim chances of success in the entertainment industry. Rhonda is approached by a man named Matt (Doug Savant), who claims to be an old friend of hers from her hometown. As they rekindle their friendship, Rhonda begins to suspect that Matt may have ulterior motives.

As tensions rise and secrets are revealed, the residents of Melrose Place must come to terms with their own flaws and try to find a way to move forward. Whether they succeed or not remains to be seen, but one thing is certain - their lives will never be the same.
