Monogatari Series Second Season is a Japanese anime television series produced by Aniplex. It is the second season of the Monogatari Series anime franchise, which is based on the light novel series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Vofan. The show originally aired from July to December 2013, with a total of 26 episodes.

The story of Monogatari Series Second Season picks up where its predecessor, Monogatari Series: Second Season, left off. It follows the exploits of Koyomi Araragi, a high school student who has been involved with various supernatural occurrences. With the help of his friends and allies, he must confront and overcome a new set of challenges and obstacles.

The first part of the show, "Nekomonogatari Shiro," focuses on Shinobu Oshino, a mysterious vampire who has been with Koyomi since the beginning of the series. The story takes place during the Golden Week holiday, and Koyomi and his girlfriend, Hitagi Senjougahara, try to help Shinobu regain her lost powers by exploring her past. Along the way, they encounter various other characters, including Nadeko Sengoku, a girl who has been possessed by a snake god.

The second part of the show, "Kabukimonogatari," follows Koyomi's encounters with the enigmatic Mayoi Hachikuji, a girl who has been dead for ten years but still appears as an apparition. Koyomi tries to help Mayoi finally move on to the afterlife, but he must first solve the mystery of her death and find a way to reverse the spell that keeps her bound to the mortal world.

The third part of the show, "Otorimonogatari," introduces a new character, a girl named Kanbaru Suruga who is haunted by a mysterious tiger. Koyomi and his friends try to help her overcome her fears and confront the supernatural beast. Along the way, they discover some dark secrets about the origins of the tiger and the nature of the supernatural world.

The fourth part of the show, "Onimonogatari," takes place during the summer break, and Koyomi and his friends are surprised to find themselves transported to an alternate dimension. There, they encounter a host of new supernatural phenomena and fight off a horde of monsters while trying to find a way back to their own world.

The fifth and final part of the show, "Koimonogatari," brings the series full-circle as Koyomi must confront a new set of challenges related to his own love life. He must choose between his girlfriend, Hitagi, and a new girl he has developed feelings for. Meanwhile, his friends and allies face their own challenges and must work together to overcome the obstacles that stand in their way.

Overall, Monogatari Series Second Season is an engaging and complex anime that blends elements of supernatural horror, psychological drama, and romantic comedy.
