Odd Mom Out Season 1 Episode 9 The Truth Fairy

Jill Weber, the "odd mom out" of New York's Upper East Side, has been lying to her husband, Andy, for the past few weeks. She's been pretending to see a therapist, but in reality, she's been using the time to sneak away and eat candy bars in the park.

Jill's lie is about to catch up with her, though. During a game of truth or dare with her friends, she's picked to reveal one of her secrets. When she admits that she's been lying to her husband, her friends force her to come clean to him.

Andy is understandably hurt and angry at Jill's deception. He tells her that he needs some time to think about their relationship and leaves her alone to deal with her guilt.

Meanwhile, Jill's sister-in-law, Lex, is dealing with her own problems. Her husband, Brooke, has been jobless for months, and she's starting to feel the financial strain. When Jill catches Lex stealing food from her house, she offers to help out with the couple's bills.

But as Lex grows more and more desperate for money, she starts to show her true colors. When Jill invites her to a fancy charity event, Lex steals a valuable brooch from one of the guests.

Jill tries to intervene, but it's too late. The police are called, and Lex is taken away in handcuffs. When Brooke finds out what happened, he's devastated and tells Jill that he wants a divorce.

As Jill struggles to make amends with her own husband and her sister-in-law's marriage falls apart, she learns some important lessons about honesty and loyalty. She realizes that while it's important to be truthful, it's even more important to be there for the people you love, no matter what.
