In this television series created by Jenna Bans, a group of doctors, all running from something in their pasts, accept jobs working at a medical clinic in South America. Martin Henderson is Ben Keaton, the gruff head of the clinic who has a few secrets of his own. Valerie Cruz is Dr. Alvarez, the right hand woman to the boss who has been working at the clinic longer than anyone else. Jason George is Dr. Cole, whose past problems with substance abuse cause their own brand of conflict. Rachelle Lefevre is Dr. Clark, a young woman who tries not to let her own illness get in the way of her helping others. The trio of young doctors joining them are played by Zach Gilford, Mamie Gummer, and Caroline Dhavernas. The youngsters have no idea what they're getting into when they opt to apply for jobs at a clinic in the middle of the jungle. Combining their advanced medical training with local flora and fauna knowledge, the doctors must find a way to successfully work in near isolation, all the while dealing with the demons of their past.
