Okamisan is a Japanese anime of the romantic comedy genre that focuses on parodying classic fairy tales from the east and west, such as "Goldilocks" and "The Crane's Return of A Favor." The show focuses on Ryoko Okami, a tomboy member of Otogi High School's trading club, and the other club members as they try to solve problems for people in exchange for favors down the line. The other members are inspired by "Little Red Riding Hood," "Tsuru no Ongaeshi," "The Tortoise and the Hare," and even Arthurian legends.

  • Machiko, a poor girl who mistakenly sees Ryoshi as her ticket to riches, does her best to pocket him in hopes of marriage. When an underlying dilemma comes to light, the Otogi Bank offers a helping hand - or Neko glove.

  • Ryoko is back in the clutches of the insufferable bully, Shiro. An Otogi vs Onigashima battle ensues as her friends storm the school to save her. A showdown with Shiro puts Ryoshi - and his recent training - to the test.

  • Someone is conspiring to sabotage Otogi Bank! As Ryoko and company work overtime to fill a flood of requests, thugs from Onigashima High set up full-scale abductions of each Otogi Bank member.

  • Ringo dodges a request from senior and beauty pageant winner, Himeno. Their unfortunate past has Ringo in a fuss. Until she can face the upperclassman, the rest of Otogi Bank must entertain Himeno's seven tyke siblings!

  • Searching for a wife for a wealthy eleven year old turns out to be no small task for the Otogi Bank. The Academy's entire female student body is left scathed by insults from the boy's choosy butler.

  • Ringo arranges a precocious pairing in response to a request from the Academy's baseball whiz. When Ryoko flees the mission, a blow to the head leads to a run-in with the tormentor from her past.

  • On a hunt for answers to a burning question about Ryoko's past, Ryoshi learns he must gain her trust and ask her himself. Ringo recalls how she and Ryoko met, and the conflict that sparked Ryoko's ravenous need for strength.

  • In Japanese folklore, Oni are evil creatures such as demons, ogres, and trolls. When the Oni (delinquents) at Onigashima High get unruly, Momo hires Otogi Bank to address the issue with the student council president.

  • Ryoshi saves Otsuu, the maid of Otogi Bank, from a whack from a loose baseball. Obsessed with repaying favors, Otsuu starts doing housework at Ryoshi's place to show her appreciation. Her friends take it upon themselves to break her fixation for good.

  • Otohime plans to settle the score with a long-time rival by beating her in the Miss Otogi Academy beauty pageant. At her request, the Otogi Bank unleashes on the competition to help her win at all costs.

  • Ryoko gets a request while the rest of Otogi Bank is out shopping. When gangsters from a rivaling high school ambush her solo mission, Ryoshi gathers the guts to show he's no chump in the face of danger.

  • Ryoko and her friends form Otogi Bank: a social club which specializes in resolving problems for classmates via aggressive transactions. The wallflower Ryoshi is smitten with Ryoko-despite rejection - and must prove his worth to the rest of the troop.
