Ep 9. The Glove

In Paranormal State season 2 episode 9, titled "The Glove," the Paranormal Research Society (PRS) investigates a haunting in a historic mansion in New Jersey. The team begins their investigation by conducting an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) session in the room where the glove is kept. They hear what sounds like a woman's voice saying "help me" and "leave me alone." They also capture several unexplained noises and footsteps on their audio equipment.

Next, they move on to conducting a thermal imaging session in the same room. They note several cold spots in the room that seem to be moving around, as though they are being manipulated by an unseen force.

As the investigation continues, the team begins to experience some unusual occurrences of their own. They hear strange scratching sounds coming from the walls and floor, and one team member even claims to have seen a misty figure dart across the room.

In an attempt to further communicate with the spirit, the team decides to use a Ouija board. Although they are initially skeptical of the board's abilities, they are shocked when the planchette begins to move seemingly on its own. They ask the spirit questions, and it appears to respond correctly.

However, as the session continues, the board begins to give them nonsensical answers and the planchette begins to move rapidly back and forth. It becomes clear that they have opened a portal to something sinister, and they quickly end the session.

As the investigation comes to a close, the team is left with more questions than answers. They are unsure whether they were communicating with the ghost of the woman who owned the glove, or if they had unwittingly awakened something dark and malevolent. The owner of the mansion is grateful for their efforts, but is still left with the mystery of the haunted glove.

Overall, the episode is a suspenseful and riveting exploration of the paranormal. The team's professionalism and expertise are on full display, as they navigate the frightening and unknown.
