Pokemon Season 8 Episode 42 Numero Uno Articuno

Ash and his friends journey towards the Battle Pike, a facility where Ash may become eligible to claim the Frontier Symbol. However, en route to the Pike, they notice a flock of Wingull struggling to keep control in the heavy winds.

As they investigate, they discover that their natural wonder—the Sea's Mirage—one of the most unique sights in the world-has been lost in the surrounding thick fog. The mirage occurs only sporadically and is quite possibly linked to the area's Crystal Rocks.

Ash and the others soon encounter a researcher working on the Mirage's restoration, named Shelly. Shelly is dedicated to restoring the Sea's Mirage to its former glory, but it's clear that she is in a tight spot due to her one-of-a-kind, ambitious as well as unprecedented project.

However, the situation takes an unexpected turn as Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres, the legendary birds of Kanto, are disturbed from their nesting area, causing Articuno to flee. The guardians of ice hold territorial disputes about their nesting habitats, yet they are capable of being a great peaceful alliance as they come together. It's up for the team to find a way to bring Articuno back, but that's easier said than done, especially when they are dealing with a temperamental legendary creature.

Team Rocket, unsurprisingly, tries to profit from the situation. Ash, May, and the others find themselves defending the legendary creature alongside Shelly. In the end, the situation provides the perfect opportunity for Ash to earn a second Frontier Symbol.
