Ep 9. Soul Bird Salvation

Cole, the Red Ranger, is haunted by his past as his parents were killed in a plane crash when he was young. On the day of their anniversary, a Phantom Beast named Retinax attacks the city in search of the Soul Bird, a creature said to grant wishes. The Wild Force Rangers are called into action, but Retinax proves to be a formidable opponent.

Meanwhile, Cole hears a melody that reminds him of his parents and follows it to an abandoned building. There he finds the Soul Bird, who is injured and weak. Cole decides to take care of the creature, but is soon faced with a dilemma when he realizes that his wish to bring his parents back to life could come true.

As the Rangers continue to battle Retinax, they come across the Soul Bird. They learn of Cole's dilemma and urge him to reconsider his wish. Cole is torn between his love for his parents and knowing that bringing them back could have unforeseen consequences.

With the help of the Soul Bird, the Rangers discover Retinax's weakness and defeat him. Cole finally makes a decision about his wish, and learns the true power of letting go.

As the episode ends, the Rangers reflect on the importance of cherishing memories but also accepting the reality of loss. Cole is at peace with his decision and the team continues to fight against evil.
