Power Rangers RPM is the 17th season of the long-running Power Rangers franchise. The show premiered on March 7, 2009, and ran until December 26 of the same year. It was produced by Saban Brands and aired on ABC Kids in the United States. The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a sentient computer virus called Venjix has taken over the world's computer systems, causing humanity to move into a domed city called Corinth. The city is protected by a team of Power Rangers, who fight off Venjix's army of robots and other monstrous creatures.

The series protagonists are a group of five young adults, each with their unique personality and set of skills, who are chosen to become the Power Rangers. The team includes the Red Ranger, Scott (Eka Darville), the Blue Ranger, Flynn (Ari Boyland), the Yellow Ranger, Summer (Rose McIver), the Green Ranger, Ziggy (Milo Cawthorne), and the Black Ranger, Dillon (Dan Ewing). Together, they form the RPM Rangers.

Each episode sees the RPM Rangers battle against Venjix's forces, using their advanced weapons and vehicles. The Rangers' primary weapon is a hand-held device called the Cell Shift Morpher, which allows them to transform into their Ranger forms and call upon their Zords, giant robots that they pilot in battle.

The series also includes several supporting characters, including Dr. K (Olivia Tennet), a reclusive scientist who developed the technology that powers the Rangers and their Zords; Colonel Mason Truman (James Gaylyn), the commanding officer of the Rangers; Tenaya 7 (Adelaide Kane), Venjix's chief enforcer; and Gem (Mike Ginn) and Gemma (Li Ming Hu), two comic relief characters who join the Rangers later in the series.

Aside from the action and adventure, the series also delves into the personal lives of the Rangers. While fighting Venjix, they must also navigate the challenges of living in a post-apocalyptic world, including finding food and shelter and dealing with their own personal demons.

Power Rangers RPM is notable for its darker tone compared to earlier seasons of the franchise. The show's post-apocalyptic setting and the threat posed by Venjix add a sense of urgency to the Rangers' mission, and the series is more focused on storytelling than on merchandising tie-ins.

The series also features some impressive special effects, particularly in the design of the Rangers' Zords and the various robots and monsters that they fight. These effects are enhanced by the show's use of New Zealand as a filming location, which provides a beautiful backdrop for the series' action-packed scenes.

Overall, Power Rangers RPM is a great entry in the long-running franchise, providing plenty of thrills and excitement for both longtime fans and newcomers alike. With its engaging characters, exciting action sequences, and impressive special effects, it's definitely worth checking out for anyone looking for a fun and entertaining adventure.

Power Rangers RPM is a series that ran for 1 seasons (32 episodes) between March 7, 2009 and on Saban
