Towards the end of the episode, we see the development of the romantic relationship between Tsukimi and Shu, as they spend time together and bond over their love of retro games. However, their romantic moment is interrupted when Kuranosuke returns home, causing Tsukimi to realize that she still has feelings for him. Overall, "Days of Love and Lukewarm Water" is a heartwarming episode that continues to explore the themes of self-discovery, friendship, and love.
