Rampo Kitan: Game of Laplace
- 1 Season
Rampo Kitan: Game of Laplace is a Japanese anime detective series from 2015. Most of the series takes place around a middle school with a disturbing connection to an uncommonly high number of murder cases. As the young adult detective Akechi investigates the various cases within the school, he encounters Kobayashi, a feminine-looking male student of the school. Kobayashi takes a strong interest in Akechi's line of work and, against the advice of Akechi's friend Hashiba, Akechi agrees to let the boy work as his apprentice. Things become interesting when Kobayashi is the prime suspect in a case where the dismembered remains of his homeroom teacher are discovered. Rampo Kitan: Game of Laplace lasted for only a single season of 11 episodes. Each of the episodes in the show is available in either English or Japanese with English subtitles. The series was created partly in honor of crime writer Edogawa Rampo's stories and in recognition of the man's death fifty years prior to the release of the series.
