Ep 9. Frankie's

In season 4 episode 9 of Restaurant: Impossible, host Robert Irvine visits Frankie's, a restaurant located in Three Rivers, Michigan. Frankie's was opened by Frank and his wife Paula almost a decade ago, and it has been struggling financially for some time. The restaurant is open seven days a week, but it averages only 25 to 30 customers per day. The restaurant's decor is outdated and uninviting, and its menu lacks focus.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Robert observes that the exterior of the building is dull and unattractive. He also notes that the interior is cluttered with decorations that don't fit in with the restaurant's theme. Robert enlists the help of a team of designers to update the restaurant's decor. The team works overnight to transform the drab, outdated interior into a space that is modern and inviting. They use a fresh coat of paint, new lighting, and new furniture to create a more welcoming atmosphere.

The next day, Robert works with the kitchen staff to revamp the menu. They create a much simpler menu that focuses on the restaurant's strengths, which are burgers and pizza. The kitchen staff learns how to make fresh pizza dough and how to create gourmet burgers that are cooked to perfection.

During the grand reopening, Robert is pleased to see that the new menu and decor are a hit with customers. Word-of-mouth quickly spreads and the restaurant becomes a destination for locals and passing travelers alike.

In the end, Frank and Paula are grateful for the changes that Robert has helped them make. They are now more confident and excited about their restaurant's future and they look forward to serving their loyal customers for many years to come.
