In the second episode of Royal Pains season 1, titled "There Will Be Food," Hank treats a young girl with breathing difficulties due to pollution in her school. As he gets to know her, he becomes suspicious of the school's administration and their reluctance to address the issue.
Meanwhile, Hank's brother, Evan, attempts to impress his girlfriend's parents by cooking them a fancy dinner, but things quickly spiral out of control when he accidentally burns a dish and attempts to cover it up with disastrous consequences.
As Hank deals with the school issue, he also navigates his complicated relationships with his family and his on-again-off-again girlfriend, Jill. Will he be able to balance it all and solve the mystery of the school's pollution problem? And will Evan be able to salvage his disastrous dinner party?
Filled with heart and humor, "There Will Be Food" is a satisfying continuation of the series' debut episode and sets the stage for the character development and storylines to come.
