As Hank and Evan continue to grow their concierge medical business, HankMed, they take on a new client named Tad. Tad is a famous chef who is known for his extravagant and often unhealthy dishes. However, he has started to experience debilitating stomach pain and needs Hank's help to figure out what's causing it.

Meanwhile, Jill and Divya are faced with a difficult case when they treat a young woman named Emily. Emily is suffering from a mysterious illness that has left her bedridden and unable to move or speak. As Jill and Divya work to diagnose and treat her, tensions arise between them as they both have differing opinions on what the best course of treatment for Emily should be.

As Hank works to get to the bottom of Tad's stomach problems, he begins to suspect that it may be related to his unhealthy diet. Despite Tad's protests, Hank urges him to start eating healthier and to cut back on the rich and fatty foods that he's known for. Evan, too, tries to help by using his savvy marketing skills to rebrand Tad's restaurant and make it more health-conscious.

However, Tad isn't the only one struggling with health issues. Hank's father, Eddie, also makes an unexpected appearance in the Hamptons and reveals that he's been diagnosed with diabetes. Hank and Eddie have a strained relationship, and their reunion is a tense one as they try to work through their past issues while dealing with Eddie's illness.

Throughout the episode, themes of health and family are explored, as Hank and his team work to help their clients while also dealing with their own personal struggles. As always, there are moments of humor and light-heartedness mixed in with the drama, making for an entertaining episode of Royal Pains.
