Ep 4. Jade Stone - Jade Stern

Sakurada Jun was an introverted and socially awkward young boy who didn't have any friends. One day, he receives a letter, which he assumes is a prank, inviting him to wind a key and activate it. Upon doing so, he discovers a life-size doll in his room. The doll is a Rozen Maiden, and her name is Shinku. She is the fifth Rozen Maiden, and she needs his help to fight against her sisters to become Alice, the ultimate Rozen Maiden.

In this episode, Jade Stone - Jade Stern, the fourth Rozen Maiden, is introduced. Jun is taking a bath when Shinku comes in to talk to him about the fourth Rozen Maiden. She tells him that Jade Stern is the most intelligent of all the Rozen Maidens and that she possesses the ability to control gravity. Shinku also warns Jun that Jade Stern is dangerous and that they should stay away from her.

Meanwhile, Jade Stern is shown traveling through the city on a bus. She is observing people and their interactions with each other. At the end of her bus ride, she meets up with the second Rozen Maiden, Kanaria. The two of them discuss Shinku and how they can use Jun to get to her. Jade Stern also reveals that she wants to become Alice not for Rozen's sake but for her own.

Later that day, Jun is at school, and he is struggling to make friends. Hinaichigo, the sixth Rozen Maiden, shows up to keep him company. She tells him that it's okay not to have friends and that he should focus on being himself. Suddenly, Jade Stern arrives at the school, and Hinaichigo hides under Jun's desk. Jade Stern introduces herself to Jun and tries to charm him with her intelligence, but he is hesitant and cautious.

After school, Jun meets up with Shinku and tells her about Jade Stern's visit. Shinku becomes worried and decides to investigate. They find Jade Stern and Kanaria in an abandoned building, and a battle ensues. Shinku and Jade Stern fight on the rooftop, and Jade Stern uses her gravity control ability to gain the upper hand. Shinku is able to escape, but Jun is captured by Kanaria.

Jade Stern reveals her true intentions to Jun. She tells him that she wants to destroy all of the Rozen Maidens, including herself, so that Rozen cannot create Alice. Jun is shocked and horrified by her plan and tells her that he will stop her. Shinku arrives to save Jun, and the two of them escape.

At the end of the episode, Jun and Shinku discuss Jade Stern's plan and how they must stop her. Jun realizes that he is not alone and that he has friends who will help him. Shinku tells Jun that he is her medium, and that they must work together to protect each other and defeat Jade Stern.

Overall, Jade Stone - Jade Stern is a thrilling episode that adds another layer to the Rozen Maiden universe. Theres an excellent display of the dangerous capabilities of the various characters, and the plot thickens as the ultimate Rozen Maiden, Alice, becomes even more highly contested. The episode also explores the theme of loneliness and friendship, as Jun struggles with making friends and finds strength through his connection with the Rozen Maidens. This episode is definitely a must-watch for fans of the series and those who enjoy a good action-packed episode.
