- December 18, 1993
Venus: Minako's Nurse Mayhem is the tenth episode of the second season of Sailor Moon R, the original Japanese version.
The episode begins with Minako feeling sick and being unable to go to school. The other Sailor Scouts come to visit her, and they find out that she has been behaving strangely lately, especially around a new boy in town named Toshio. Seeing that Minako is struggling, the Sailor Scouts decide to help her and offer to take care of her.
However, their efforts to nurse her back to health are in vain, as Minako seems to be getting worse rather than better. Luna, the cat who guides and advises the Sailor Scouts, suspects that there might be something more sinister at play and decides to investigate.
Soon, Luna discovers that Toshio is in fact a vampire, who has been draining Minako's energy in order to sustain himself. Luna immediately shares her findings with the rest of the Sailor Scouts, and they realize that they have to act quickly if they want to save Minako.
The Sailor Scouts come up with a plan to lure Toshio away from Minako by using her as bait. The plan works, and Toshio falls into their trap. During their confrontation, they discover that Toshio is not evil, but merely misguided. They manage to convince him to stop harming Minako and to leave town.
After successfully dealing with Toshio, the Sailor Scouts are overjoyed that their friend is on the mend. However, Minako is still feeling a bit down, as she is sad that Toshio had to leave. Luckily, the other Scouts reassure her, telling her that there are plenty of nice boys in the world, and that she will find someone who is just right for her.
The episode ends with Minako feeling much better, and the Sailor Scouts celebrating their victory over the vampire Toshio.
Overall, Venus: Minako's Nurse Mayhem is a fun, lighthearted episode that highlights the importance of friendship and teamwork. It also features some exciting action scenes and a bit of supernatural intrigue that keeps the plot engaging. Fans of Sailor Moon R will not be disappointed with this episode, which is a great addition to the series.
