A New Enemy Appears: Nephrite's Evil Crest is the 14th episode of the first season of Sailor Moon (Original Japanese Version). A battle ensues and the Sailor Guardians are able to destroy the monster. Nephrite, realizing that he has failed, destroys his own crest in a fit of anger. Queen Beryl is furious with Nephrite's failure and kills him, stating that she has no use for weak minions in the Dark Kingdom.

The episode ends with Sailor Moon lamenting Nephrite's death, stating that she wishes she could have helped him. The other Sailor Guardians comfort her and reassure her that they will continue to fight for justice.
