Smurfs Season 1 Episode 16 The Fake Smurf

As the Smurfs go on their daily routines around the village, they suddenly spot another Smurf who none of them have ever met before. This new Smurf claims to be a long lost relative of the Smurf village, and that he's been wandering around for years trying to find it.

Initially, the Smurfs welcome their new Smurf but soon they start to question his motives, especially when he starts asking too many personal questions about their village, including the location of the Smurfs' secret storehouse.

After talking amongst themselves, they decide to investigate the situation further. They soon find out that the new Smurf is not who he claims to be, but an imposter who is trying to steal the village's valuables, including their precious Smurf berries.

Determined to expose the imposter, the Smurfs set up a trap to try and catch him in the act. However, the imposter proves to be more cunning than they thought and manages to evade their trap. Undeterred, the Smurfs decide to keep a close eye on him and try to find another way to catch him.

Meanwhile, Gargamel notices that there is a new Smurf in town and comes up with a devious plan to capture him. He creates a potion that will turn the imposter into a statue, and sets out to find him.

The imposter, not realizing the danger he's in, falls for Gargamel's trap and is turned into a statue. The Smurfs are devastated, but their sadness is short-lived when they realize that the statue is not the real imposter, but a fake one.

They soon find the real imposter hiding in the forest, where he had been trying to steal the Smurf berries. They capture him and bring him back to the village where they hold a trial to determine his punishment.

In the end, the imposter is banished from the village, and the Smurfs breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their village and its secrets are safe once again.
