Shirayuki is a skilled herbalist with beautiful red hair, living peacefully in the kingdom of Tanbarun. However, when the kingdom's prince, Raj, demands that she become his concubine, Shirayuki refuses and flees to the neighboring kingdom of Clarines.

In Clarines, Shirayuki meets a handsome young man named Zen, who just so happens to be the prince of the kingdom. Zen takes interest in Shirayuki's determination and intelligence, and the two quickly become friends. However, their peaceful friendship is interrupted when a group of bandits attacks the two, and Shirayuki must use her wits and herbal skills to help them escape.
