Ep 28. Sticks And Amy's Excellent Staycation

Sticks And Amy's Excellent Staycation is the 28th episode of the second season of Sonic Boom. In this episode, Sonic and his friends have been working hard, and Sticks and Amy suggest taking a staycation to relax and recharge. Sonic and Knuckles decide to go to the beach, while Tails stays home to work on a new invention. Meanwhile, Sticks and Amy decide to stay in town and explore, but things don't go exactly as planned.

As soon as Sonic and Knuckles arrive at the beach, they realize that it's not what they expected. The beach is crowded with people, and there's no place to relax. Sonic tries to show Knuckles how to have fun, but it's not easy with so many people around. They end up getting into a disagreement and part ways.

Back in town, Sticks and Amy are having their own adventure. They start with a trip to the farmer's market, but things quickly take a turn. Sticks becomes convinced that the vegetables are alive and starts talking to them. Amy tries to snap her out of it, but it's no use. They decide to leave and head to the park instead.

At the park, they come across Dave the Intern, who is having a hard time with his job. They decide to help him out and end up getting more than they bargained for. They have to deal with a runaway helium tank, a group of angry animals, and a giant bouncy house. Through it all, they remain positive and supportive of each other.

Meanwhile, Tails is hard at work on his new invention, an automated chili dog stand. He's hoping to make enough money to buy a new engine for his plane. However, he runs into some technical difficulties, and the machine starts going haywire. Tails tries to fix it, but things only get worse. He eventually calls Sonic for help, but Sonic is still at the beach.

As the day goes on, everyone's plans start to unravel. Sonic and Knuckles finally make up, but they're too tired to enjoy the beach. Sticks and Amy are completely worn out from their adventures, but they're glad they had each other to rely on. And Tails finally manages to fix his invention, but he's too late to make any sales.

In the end, everyone comes together to share their experiences and realize that they didn't need to go far to have a good time. They decide to have a staycation at home instead and spend the evening hanging out and relaxing. Sonic and his friends may have had a challenging day, but they learned important lessons about friendship, teamwork, and perseverance.
