Ep 17. Fusion

Fusion is the 17th episode of the first season of Star Trek: Enterprise. In this episode, the Enterprise crew encounters a group of Vulcans who have rejected the teachings of Surak and are now practicing a form of mind melding that they call "fusion". This practice is considered taboo by mainstream Vulcan society, and the crew discovers that the group they have encountered is wanted by the Vulcan High Command for their involvement in an extremist political movement.

The episode centers around the interactions between T'Pol, the Vulcan science officer on the Enterprise, and the leader of the group, Tolaris.
