"Similitude" is the tenth episode of the third season of Star Trek: Enterprise. The episode centers around a unique form of cloning technology that is used to create a "sim," essentially a younger, genetically identical version of an adult human. When a major injury threatens the life of a crew member, Captain Archer makes the decision to create a sim, using DNA from the crew member to grow a new, younger version of himself to provide a much-needed organ transplant.

However, the creation of the sim raises complex ethical questions, like the fact that the sim is conscious and has all of the memories and emotions of the person it was cloned from. As the sim begins to develop its own separate personality and forms a bond with the rest of the crew, Archer is forced to confront the fact that he essentially created new life and must decide what to do with it.

The episode is a thought-provoking exploration of the concept of personhood and the morality of cloning technology, all wrapped up in the familiar sci-fi trappings of Star Trek. The performances are strong, particularly by Scott Bakula as Archer and guest star Connor Trinneer as the sim. It's a standout episode from an often-overlooked entry in the Star Trek franchise.
