Ep 14. The Aenar

Captain Archer and his crew receive a distress call from an Andorian ship. Upon arriving at the scene, they find that the ship's crew has been incapacitated by an unknown psychotropic agent. The only one left conscious is a young Andorian woman named Jhamel, who claims to be a member of an underground race known as the Aenar.

The Aenar are a reclusive group of Andorians who possess the telepathic ability to communicate with their counterparts, the blind telepathic creatures known as the ice bores. They have been persecuted by the Andorians for centuries and forced to live in isolation in the arctic region of their planet.

When Archer learns that the Aenar have been kidnapped by the Romulans and forced to build a weapon, he sets out to rescue them with the help of Jhamel and her ice bore companion. They travel to the arctic region of Andoria, where they encounter the Aenar for the first time.
