Ep 1. The Siege of Lothal

The season 2 premiere of Star Wars Rebels, titled "The Siege of Lothal," picks up where the season 1 finale left off. The crew of the Ghost has been wreaking havoc on the Imperial forces in the Lothal system, led by the cunning Agent Kallus and the sinister Inquisitor. However, their victories have come at a price, as the rebels have drawn the attention of none other than Darth Vader himself.

The episode begins with Vader's arrival on Lothal, where he meets with Kallus and the Inquisitor to discuss the growing threat posed by the rebels. While they all agree that the rebels must be eliminated, Vader has a personal stake in the matter, as he senses a connection between his former apprentice, Ahsoka Tano, and the Ghost crew.

Meanwhile, the Rebels are dealing with their own complications. Kanan and Ezra are struggling with Ezra's growing power in the Force and the strain it puts on their master/apprentice bond. Sabine is grappling with the revelation that her home planet of Mandalore has aligned itself with the Empire. And Hera is busy coordinating the various operations that keep the Ghost flying and the crew fed.

When news of Vader's presence on Lothal reaches the rebels, they know they must act quickly to prevent him from discovering their base and wiping them out. They launch a daring raid on an Imperial convoy, hoping to capture a valuable asset that could help them in their fight against the Empire.

Of course, nothing goes quite as planned, and they soon find themselves in the midst of a full-fledged battle with Vader himself. With the fate of Lothal and the entire rebel movement at stake, the Ghost crew must pull together and fight with everything they've got.

"The Siege of Lothal" is a tense, action-packed episode that sets the stakes high for the rest of the season. It features some stunning animation, particularly in the scenes involving Vader and the Inquisitors, and brings back some fan-favorite characters from the Clone Wars era. Overall, it's a strong start to what promises to be an exciting season of Star Wars Rebels.
