Street Fighter II: V Season 1 Episode 1 The Beginning of a Journey

The Beginning of a Journey is the first episode of the Street Fighter II V anime series. The episode begins with Ryu and Ken, two young martial artists, traveling together on their way to participate in a martial arts tournament. As they pass through a village, they witness a young boy being bullied by a group of older boys. Ryu and Ken intervene and quickly defeat the bullies using their impressive martial arts skills.

After the fight, the young boy introduces himself as Shun, and asks Ryu and Ken to teach him how to fight like they do. Though hesitant at first, Ryu and Ken ultimately agree to take Shun under their wing and begin to train him in the ways of martial arts.

The trio soon set out on their journey once again, but they are soon ambushed by a gang of bandits who are after the prize money from the martial arts tournament. Ryu, Ken, and Shun are able to take down the bandits with ease, impressing a nearby traveler who introduces himself as Gouken, a legendary martial arts master.

Gouken recognizes Ryu and Ken as disciples of his former student, Gouki, and agrees to take them under his wing and teach them everything he knows. The group sets off together to continue their journey and hone their skills.

As they travel, the group stops in another village where they encounter a young girl named Chun-Li. They learn that she is searching for her father, who went missing while investigating a mysterious organization known as Shadowlaw. The group agrees to help Chun-Li and sets off on a mission to uncover the truth about Shadowlaw and find Chun-Li's father.

Throughout the episode, viewers are introduced to several iconic characters from the Street Fighter franchise, including Ryu and Ken's rival Vega, as well as Balrog, who is working for Shadowlaw.

The Beginning of a Journey sets the stage for the rest of the series, introducing viewers to the world of Street Fighter and the main characters who will be at the center of the show. With intense fight scenes and an intriguing plot, the first episode sets the bar high for the rest of the series.
