Ep 12. The Alchemist

Reddington and the Task Force are on the trail of a man known only as "The Alchemist," a brilliant scientist who is able to transform human DNA into anything he desires. He is also a master of disguise, able to change his appearance at will. The Alchemist has been hired by a wealthy businessman to create a clone of his dying daughter, but Reddington needs to find him before he can complete the task.

The team manages to track down The Alchemist to a medical facility where he is holding a young woman captive. They are able to rescue her, but not before the Alchemist escapes with a sample of her blood. Reddington then enlists the help of a former associate who has connections to the Russian mob to find out more about The Alchemist's motives.

Meanwhile, FBI agent Elizabeth Keen discovers a connection between The Alchemist and her husband, Tom. She confronts Tom about it, but he denies any involvement. However, after some investigation, Keen discovers that Tom has been lying to her about his past and is hiding something from her.

As the episode progresses, Reddington and the Task Force get closer to finding The Alchemist and disrupting his plans. They come up with a plan to bait him using a decoy, but things do not go according to plan and they are forced to improvise. The climax of the episode is a thrilling chase sequence that sees Reddington and the Task Force pursuing The Alchemist through the streets of Washington D.C.

Overall, "The Alchemist" is a tense and action-packed episode that moves the overarching plot of the series forward while also providing plenty of excitement and intrigue on its own. The villain of the week is memorable and well-portrayed, and the character development of Keen and Tom adds an extra layer of complexity to the story.
