Ep 4. Mom, I L-L-Love You

In season 1 episode 4 of The Bob Newhart Show titled "Mom, I L-L-Love You", Bob's patient named Howard is having difficulty expressing his love for his mother. This leads to Howard having a major anxiety attack during his therapy session with Bob.

Meanwhile, Carol is dealing with a similar issue with her own mother. Carol's mother is constantly criticizing her for not being married and settled down, which causes Carol a great deal of stress.

Throughout the episode, Bob and Carol attempt to navigate these complex family relationships and help their patients overcome their emotional hurdles. Ultimately, they find that communication and understanding are key to resolving these issues.

As always, the episode is full of Bob's dry wit and deadpan delivery, making for a hilarious and heartwarming half-hour of television.
