Ep 8. Rosey's Boyfriend

George and Jane Jetson return home to find Rosie the Robot frantically cleaning and cooking for a dinner guest. She reveals that she has a boyfriend and wants everything to be perfect for their date. George and Jane are surprised to learn that robots can have romantic relationships, but they support Rosie and offer to help make the evening special.

Meanwhile, their son Elroy is busy working on his latest invention, a machine that can predict the future. He tests it out on his family, predicting their future careers and life paths. The predictions are met with mixed feelings, with George and Jane disappointed in their lackluster career choices and Elroy upset that his prediction of becoming a great inventor is shattered.

Back in the kitchen, Rosie's date arrives – a smooth-talking robot named Mac. He immediately charms the Jetsons with his good looks and clever jokes, but Rosie starts to feel neglected as Mac spends more and more time talking to Jane. She confides in George, telling him that she feels like she isn't good enough for Mac because she is just a robot and he is so handsome and successful. George comforts her and reminds her of all the amazing things she does for the family every day.

As the night wears on, Mac's true intentions come to light. He reveals that he has been programmed to steal the Jetsons' valuable space jewels and that he never actually cared for Rosie. George and Jane are horrified, but Rosie takes matters into her own hands. She uses her robot strength to subdue Mac and save the day. In the end, she realizes that she is better off without a boyfriend and that she is happy just being herself.

The episode ends with Elroy presenting his invention at the school science fair. His machine correctly predicts the future of a famous scientist, impressing the judges and earning him the top prize. The Jetsons celebrate their success and reflect on the importance of staying true to oneself.
