Ep 4. Invisible Yours, George

George Jetson, a resident of the year 2062, is a loving husband and father who works at Spacely's Space Sprockets. In season 3 episode 4, entitled "Invisible Yours, George", George is having a tough day at work and is feeling invisible to his superiors. Even being the employee who has worked there the longest does not seem to be garnering him any respect.

After a long day of being overlooked and ignored, George decides to take a shortcut home through a new area of the city. Unbeknownst to him, this area has a new invention - an invisibility ray. George accidentally becomes invisible when he passes through the invisibility ray, and is at first excited about his new power, but soon realizes it has its downsides.

Invisible and unable to control his own movements, George struggles to find a way to turn himself visible again, especially after he discovers no one can see or hear him. Meanwhile, his family desperately searches for George, who they fear has been kidnapped.

As a result of his newfound invisibility, George is able to move around unnoticed, but finds himself missing his life and wishing he could go back to being visible. With time running out, George's family must work together to find him and reverse the effects of the ray to turn him visible again.

Throughout the episode, the family learns a valuable lesson about the importance of being seen and heard, and the consequences of feeling invisible in society. In the end, George is reunited with his family and becomes visible once again, grateful for the experience but eager to return to his normal life.

The Jetsons is a classic animated television show that originally aired from 1962-1963, and later in syndication from 1985-1987. The show, which was set in a futuristic world, was ahead of its time and often tackled important social and cultural issues.
