The Locator is a true reality show that will pull at your heart strings the first time you see it. Troy Dunn, is The Locator, each show he assists individuals trying to search for family members that are not currently connected or have been separated in the past. Once a week his organization selects a pro bono angel case, as the featured assignment, to assist in locating the individual(s) and bringing them together. The stories are unique and you can clearly see that the emotions are uncensored and the people are real. The reoccurring theme, you can't find peace until you find all the pieces, is the driving force of Troy's staff and it shows in every episode. The true longing of an adopted child to find his/her biological family, a mother who had her children ripped from her at an early age or a long lost brother or sister looking for their siblings is an understandable need to all of us. Taking the journey, listen to the story and experiencing the excitement of the first meeting allows us a special insight that is rarely found outside our personal lives. Follow Troy through every broadcast and you will get to see his passion for these assignments and the love he has for his own family; which is surely a driving force for taking on these angel cases. However, the show is not about Troy...it's about the angel cases. This is no more evident than at the point of the episode reunion Troy fades away, because the main focus is bringing people together. The Locator is not only unlike any reality show, it's unlike any other program. It is heart-felt, warm and inspiring programming that will touch everyone. It is personal and real with an uplifting message and will leave you looking for more.
