The Michael J. Fox Show season 1 episode 3 titled "Art" follows Mike Henry, a news anchor who returns to work after taking some time off due to Parkinson's disease. In this episode, Mike and his wife Annie (Betsy Brandt) attend an art show with their daughters, Eve (Juliette Goglia) and Ian (Conor Romero).

As they peruse the artwork, Mike runs into a former colleague, Harris Green (Wendell Pierce), who is now a successful art dealer. Harris invites Mike to participate in an upcoming charity art auction where the proceeds will go towards Parkinson's research.

Mike is hesitant at first, but after seeing how much the art means to Harris, he decides to participate. However, when it comes to creating his own piece, Mike struggles to come up with an idea. After seeking advice from Harris, Mike decides to create a self-portrait.

Meanwhile, Eve is struggling with her own artistic endeavors. She is an aspiring filmmaker and is constantly filming her family, which annoys Ian. However, when Eve decides to make a documentary about her grandfather, Jack (Charles Grodin), she and Ian team up to make it happen.

Throughout the episode, the family deals with their own insecurities and struggles as they pursue their artistic passions. Mike's Parkinson's becomes a topic of conversation when he and Annie discuss the possibility of including it in his self-portrait. They both agree that it's important to address the disease and show that it doesn't define who Mike is.

As the charity auction approaches, Mike's nerves begin to get the best of him. He worries that his self-portrait won't be good enough and that he'll embarrass himself in front of his colleagues and friends. However, with the support of his family, Mike decides to go through with it.

The auction is a success, and Mike's self-portrait sells for much more than he ever expected. He is thrilled to have been a part of such a worthy cause and is grateful for the support of his loved ones. As the Henry family leaves the art show, they all feel a sense of pride and accomplishment for pursuing their passions, regardless of the challenges they faced.

Overall, "Art" is an episode that showcases the importance of pursuing one's passions, even when facing adversity. The Henry family serves as a reminder that success comes not only from talent, but also from hard work and determination.
