In this episode of The Pioneer Woman, season 9 episode 22 titled "Chuck and Crew," Ree Drummond is in for a busy day as she cooks up a storm to feed a group of cowboys who are helping with a cattle drive.

The show begins with Ree showing off her beautiful ranch and introducing her husband, Ladd, who is busy working with the herd. Ree explains that they are hosting a group of cowboys, including her father-in-law Chuck, who are helping with a cattle drive. The cowboys have been working hard all day and Ree wants to treat them to some good food.

Ree's first task is to prepare breakfast for the cowboys, and she decides to make them classic biscuits and gravy. She starts by cooking up some sausage in a hot skillet, then adds flour to make a roux. She pours in some milk and stirs the mixture until it thickens into a creamy gravy. Meanwhile, Ree's daughter Paige helps her make the biscuits from scratch. They mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and shortening before adding milk and kneading the dough. Ree rolls out the dough and cuts out the biscuits before baking them in the oven. Once the biscuits and gravy are ready, Ree serves them up to the hungry cowboys, who eagerly dig in.

After breakfast, Ree heads to the kitchen to start preparing lunch. She decides to make a hearty beef stew that will be perfect for the hungry cowboys. She starts by browning some beef chuck in a hot pot, then adds onions and garlic. Ree adds potatoes, carrots, and celery, along with some beef broth and tomatoes. She lets the stew simmer for a few hours until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through. Ree also makes a batch of cornbread to go along with the stew, mixing together cornmeal, flour, buttermilk, and eggs before baking it in the oven.

Once the stew and cornbread are ready, Ree serves them up to the cowboys in the dining room. They all gather around the table and enjoy the delicious meal, thanking Ree for her hard work and tasty cooking. Ree is happy to have provided the cowboys with some good food and a comfortable place to rest after a long day on the trail.

The episode ends with Ree saying goodbye to the cowboys as they continue on their cattle drive. She reflects on the hard work and dedication it takes to run a ranch, but also on the joy and satisfaction of being able to provide for her family and friends. As always, Ree's love for cooking and hospitality shines through in this episode of The Pioneer Woman.
