The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 5, Episode 7 - "I Do...But, I Won't" begins with Cynthia Bailey struggling to finalize the guest list for her wedding. She sits with her fiancé, Peter Thomas, and they both discuss cutting down the guest list. Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss, who was asked to perform her song, "Fly Above," at the wedding, expresses her concern about Phaedra Parks, who she feels is being too distant towards her.
In order to settle their differences and repair their friendship, Phaedra and Kandi sit down and talk things out. However, things get a little awkward as Phaedra expresses her concerns about Kandi's "vibrators" business, and how it could affect her image as a southern belle. Kandi feels offended and tells Phaedra that she's proud of her business and that it shouldn't affect their friendship.
Later, Kenya Moore, who is still feuding with Porsha Williams, attends a charity event and tries to make peace with Porsha. However, Porsha is still upset about the comments Kenya made about her during the last episode, and refuses to talk to her. Things get heated between the two, and it becomes evident that their feud is still ongoing.
At the end of the episode, the gazebo for Cynthia and Peter's wedding falls apart during the rehearsal, causing everyone to panic. Ironically, the gazebo was meant to be a symbol of their love and commitment to one another. However, Cynthia remains optimistic and declares that the mishap was just a hurdle they had to overcome, and that their love would conquer all.
