Ep 4. Inside Mans

The Wrong Mans is a British comedy-thriller television series that follows the adventures of two ordinary men, Phil Bourne (Matthew Baynton) and Sam Pinkett (James Corden) who suddenly find themselves entangled in a web of danger and mystery after witnessing a car crash and deciding to investigate. They manage to bluff their way out of the FBI station by pretending to be the Bellarmines, but it's clear that they're still in grave danger. Things take a turn for the worse when they are ambushed by a group of gunmen who shoot at them from both sides. In a thrilling chase, Phil and Sam are forced to flee for their lives, but they soon realize that they've been trapped in a shipping container.

Meanwhile, in Warwickshire, Sam and Jared team up to come up with a plan to stop the robbers. They decide to pose as IT workers and pretend to fix the company's servers, but things go awry when one of the robbers gets suspicious. Jared is forced to bluff his way out of the situation, but as they leave the building, they are pursued by the robbers.

Back in America, Phil and Sam manage to escape the container and continue their search for answers. They remember a clue from a previous episode – a business card for a hotel – and decide to investigate. When they arrive at the hotel, they find a dirty, rundown place that seems to be a front for something shady. While Sam goes to check things out, Phil calls the number on the business card and finds out that the hotel is actually a briefing center for the CIA. The plot thickens.

As the episode draws to a close, things come to a head both in Warwickshire and America. Phil and Sam discover that they've been framed for a crime they didn't commit, and the robbers in Warwickshire are revealed to have more sinister motives than anyone could have thought. With their lives in danger and no one to turn to, Phil and Sam must rely on each other more than ever as they try to stay one step ahead of the people who are trying to kill them.
