Ep 1. The Scarecrow / Which Ways Which

Toot & Puddle is an animated television show based on the books by Holly Hobbie. The show follows the adventures of two pig friends, Toot and Puddle, as they explore the world around them.

In season 1 episode 1, titled "The Scarecrow / Which Ways Which," Toot and Puddle are on summer vacation in Woodcock Pocket, their hometown. Toot is excited about spending the day exploring the woods with Puddle, but Puddle is hesitant. He's heard scary stories about a mysterious scarecrow that haunts the woods and he's not sure he wants to go.

Toot is determined to find the scarecrow so they can prove that it's just a myth. As they venture deeper into the woods, Puddle becomes more and more nervous, but Toot is fearless. They eventually come across a field with a scarecrow in the center, but something strange is happening - the scarecrow is moving!

In the second half of the episode, Puddle challenges Toot to a race to see who can find their way back to Woodcock Pocket the fastest. Toot is confident in his sense of direction, but Puddle knows that the woods can be tricky. They each choose a different path and go their separate ways.

As Toot makes his way through the woods, he becomes more and more certain that he's on the right path. But as he reaches the end of the trail, he realizes that he's actually ended up at the wrong place! Meanwhile, Puddle has been taking his time and enjoying his surroundings. He eventually finds his way back to Woodcock Pocket, much to Toot's surprise.

Through their adventures, Toot and Puddle learn important lessons about bravery and navigation. "The Scarecrow / Which Ways Which" sets the tone for the rest of the series, which focuses on friendship, exploration, and discovery.
