Ep 14. Triage

The episode Triage of season 2 of Transformers: Prime starts with the Autobots planning their next move after the disastrous battle against Megatron. Optimus Prime is determined to find a way to defeat the Decepticons, but Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead are still recovering from their injuries. Meanwhile, Megatron is also in bad shape and requires medical attention.

As the Autobots try to regroup and come up with a plan, they receive a distress signal from a crashed spaceship. They head to the crash site and find an injured medic named Ratchet and his patient, a young Transformer named Wheeljack. Ratchet is a former Autobot and a friend of Optimus Prime. He was on a humanitarian mission when they were attacked by the Decepticons.

Wheeljack is badly injured, and Ratchet needs supplies to help him. He asks the Autobots for their assistance in finding the necessary equipment. Optimus agrees to help Ratchet, and Arcee and Bumblebee offer to accompany him on his mission.

As they set out to find the supplies, Arcee and Bumblebee notice that Optimus is holding back and not fully engaging in the fight against the Decepticons. They confront him about his behavior and ask him what is wrong. Optimus reveals that he is still struggling with the guilt of not being able to save his mentor, Alpha Trion, from the Decepticons. Arcee and Bumblebee remind him that he is not alone and that they are all in this fight together.

Meanwhile, Megatron has recovered enough to leave his medical bay and is determined to find the Autobots. He sends on a mission one of his most loyal soldiers, the Decepticon medic Knock Out, to find the Autobots and bring them to him.

Back on Earth, Ratchet and the Autobots find the supplies they need and return to the spaceship to treat Wheeljack. As Ratchet works to heal his patient, he reveals that he blames himself for the death of one of his former patients. He reveals to Arcee and Bumblebee that he has been struggling to come to terms with his guilt and asks them for their advice.

As Ratchet works on Wheeljack, the Decepticons launch a surprise attack on the spaceship. Knock Out arrives and engages Arcee and Bumblebee in battle. The two Autobots manage to defeat the Decepticon, but not before he reveals to Ratchet that their former comrade, Autobot scout Cliffjumper, is alive and being held captive by the Decepticons.

As they escape the Decepticon attack, Ratchet realizes that he has a chance to redeem himself by helping to rescue Cliffjumper. He decides to join the Autobots in their fight against the Decepticons and help them defeat their enemies once and for all.

The episode ends with the Autobots regrouping and planning their next move, while Megatron and the Decepticons are left to plan their revenge. The stage is set for an epic battle between the two factions, as they fight for control of the universe.
