Later that night, Miyu and Larva confront the spirit that has been haunting Kaori. The spirit appears in the form of a beautiful young woman with a flawless, white face. The woman has been reigning as the queen of a park where otherworldly spirits gather to take refuge from humans. She has been using her supernatural powers to offer comfort and safety to spirits like herself, who were persecuted or banished by humans in the past. However, her kindness comes at a price: she wants to take Kaori's body and merge it with her own, so she can use it to permanently shield her and the spirits in her park from humans' negative energy.

Miyu challenges the spirit's twisted logic, pointing out that by taking over Kaori's body, she is no better than humans who drove her kind away from the world. The spirit is too possessive and selfish to listen to reason and engages Miyu and Larva in a fierce battle. It quickly becomes apparent that the spirit is more powerful than Miyu and Larva had anticipated, and they struggle to keep up with her attacks.

Just when things seem dire, Kaori appears on the scene, holding off the attacking spirit with her pure heart. Miyu realizes that because of Kaori's love and empathy, the spirit cannot harm her. She encourages Kaori to keep trusting in her feelings and deflecting the spirit's attacks, even as they begin to take a toll on her physical and mental health.
